It is the ideal base allowing guests to enjoy everything the glacier region has to offer.Spacious luxurious One Bedroom Villas offer guests a choice of X1 King Bed, X1 Queen Bed or X2 Single Beds for twin configuration in a separate bedroom. Franz Josef is five and a half hours drive from Christchurch or Queenstown.The rooms are very nicely decorated and are about 35 square metres. The bathrooms have under floor heating and two of the suites have a large separate French bath. The remaining suites all have a large walk in shower. Rooms can be super king or twin single beds. All rooms are on ground floor level and there is a wheel chair accessible suite. Rooms have polished wood walls and there is a lounge sofa area in each room. There is direct access to covered patio seating.There is no restaurant on site.
